In zone places are always available and we still have a limited number of out of zone places for 2026.

Applications for enrolment at DNI for 2027 will open in late July 2026 and our online enrolment forms will be available from this time.

International Fee-paying Students:

Dunedin North Intermediate maintains its signatory status to The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 (“The Code”), primarily to support those international fee-paying school learners who are already in Dunedin, studying at one of our contributing primary schools. 


Dunedin North Intermediate requires that all international school learners (“students”) live with their parent(s) or legal guardian (proof of legal guardianship must be supplied), and that they will be residing within the DNI school enrolment zone (suitable proof of address required).


In some instances we can support University of Otago students who have children living with them but this will depend on space and requires consultation with the school.
